In 1985 Central Public School Education Society (CPSES) was founded under the visionary leadership of Mr. Brij Ballabh Sharma. Right from its inception the main objective of the educational society was to provide unmatched high quality education to shape the future of the children. All round development of the children through high teaching standards and discipline has always been the focal point of all the activities taken up by the educational society. From a humble beginning of a few hundred students, Central Public School kota has now grown in both popularity and size. Today there are more than 2000 pupils perusing quality education at CPS Kota. The combination of adroit teaching staff and the divergent innovative thinking of the management have created educational opportunities of high quality for the students of the school.

At present the school is spread across an extensive 2 acre campus that includes all the contemporary facilities. To provide au courant quality learning environment the campus is equipped with topical facilities in the different laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. In addition to this there is also a computer room and an audio visual room with the latest and updated hardware and software. Equal attention is also given to extra-curricular activities for the balanced development of the children. The school has an in-house swimming pool, basketball court, badminton court and state-of-the-art gymnasium apart from a huge playground for field sports activities.
